Paul Wilson is handling the tennis ten-nis playing and is having it particularly par-ticularly hard inasmuch as the tennis courts have given way to the severe winter and are not suitable suit-able to play any matches on this season. He is attempting to find the ber.t players from candidates now out. Dee Sanford is handling the baseball team this year and has been working his prospects over to find a clicking combination. , " In track Coach George Pehrson will be out to find a winning team from some 30 aspirants. Some of the more experienced boys include: Billy Bird, Gerry Child?,, Louis Bcardall, John Gus-tin, Gus-tin, Lorin Bryan and Robert Rad-cliffe, Rad-cliffe, all of whom are in the weights, trying out in shot, discus and javeline. Speedsters include Keith Burrows, Bur-rows, LaMar Holt, Warren Schou-ten, Schou-ten, Evan Francis, Harold Smith, Jay Bradshaw, Blaine Beardall, Don Watts. Reid Porter is the hurdles prospect. Several others are also out. The first meet will be held thi", Friday (weather permitting)' at Lincoln high school. |
