Show Student's Letters To Go Over Voice of America Letters by three students from the Springville junior and senior high school have been selected by the State Department of Public Instruction, for broadcast over the Voice of America, it was announ- , ced this week. The winning letters from the Springville schools were written by Carol Moon, Jane Harrison and Linda Jolley, the latter of Mapleton. Maple-ton. Only the top choices from hundreds hun-dreds of letters were cho.seii for this week. Other letters will also be chosen on April 15 and May 15 it was stated. From 100 to 150 words each, the letters will be beamed to children of the Iron Curtain countries to give them an account by the pupils of America of the advantages advant-ages of freedom. |
