Show r Sierra Bonita DUP Elects Officers In a reorganization of the Camp Sierra Bonita DUP Thursday of last week, Mrs. Emma Kennedy was elected captain, succeeding Mrs. Fern Biglow. Other new officers of-ficers are Mrs. Berniece Beardall and Mrs. Melva H. Gottfredson, vice-captains; Mrs. Lucy Brown, secretary-treasurer; Mrs. Delphia Hardy, registrar; Mrs. Gwen Cutler, Cut-ler, class leader; Mrs. Lula Jones and Mrs. Birdie Thorpe, historians; histor-ians; Mrs. Sarah Weight, parliamentarian; parlia-mentarian; Mrs. Ellen Crandall and Mrs. Malinda Sumsion, chap-lians; chap-lians; Mrs. Helen Robbins, librarian; librar-ian; Mrs. Cecil Murray, custodian of relics; Mrs. Mabel Law, organist; organ-ist; Mrs. Wilda Oakley, chorister. The program for the meeting, directed di-rected by Capt. Biglow, included a lesson on Indian Tribes and their dealings with the Mormons, by Gwen Cutler and a history given by Mrs. Melva H. Gottfredson of her great grandfather, Daniel Henry. Hen-ry. Mrs. Cora B. Clegg, South Utah county custodian of relics, represented repre-sented the county officers at the meeting which was attended by 23 members. After the program, refreshments were served by hostesses, Helen Robbins, Gwen Cutler,, Ida Bird, and Wilda Oakley. |
