Show Vocation Guidance Program Set by Kiwanians at SHS The Kiwanis club has scheduled next Wednesday, March 23, Vocational Voca-tional Guidance Career Day in the Springville high school and they will attempt at this time to assist students in the selections of a career after they leave high school. Reese Anderson heads the club committee on vocational guidance directing plans for the day and is being assisted by Ernest A. Strong, W. W. Brockbank, A. E. Jacobsen and J. F. Wingate, board, advisor. They are being assisted by Principal Princi-pal Paul K. Walker and Dee San-ford San-ford of the facu:lty. The students have already registered reg-istered and will be divided into 18 occupational groups. A representative representa-tive from the Kiwanis club familiar famil-iar with the occupation of each group, will be asked to address the group stating the advantages of his particular occupation; how to train for it and giving other details de-tails and answering questions from the students. The Vocational Guidance talks will get underway afl0:30 a.m. |
