J. Crabb, seconded by Dr. Ellsworth, authorizing Clerk to call for bids, as per corrected' specifications, to purchase two 66 passenger school buses, complete. Bids to be called for April 4, 1955; to be advertised in the three local papers, and the call letter, together with specifications, to be sent to local dealers within the district. Motion unanimous. Hot ion by L. J. Crabb, seconded Leo A. Crandall, approving an expenditure of $125.00, which represents one-half of the cost of the stage curtain to be installed in the Salem school the Salem P.T.ft. to assume one-half of the cost. Motion unanimous, Jir, LeRoy D. Tingey, Secretary of the Springville Planning Board, waited on the Board of Education, presenting a letter from the, Planning Board expressing their satisfaction and approval of the sketches of the new Springville Junior High School : as presented to them in their meeting held February 26, 1955. Clark" Elmei Ralph Hamrnerstrom and 'toy Rogers of the Peteetneet School P.T.A. waited on the Board following up their request, as presented in the meeting held February 7th, regarding renovations to the Peteetneet School. President Payne thanked these gentlemen for their visit and reported that no action had as yet been taken on their request, A motion was made by L, J. Crabb, seconded by Dr. Ellsworth, authorizing Superintendent 'Brockbank to make arrangements to secure the services of a building engineer inspector to check the condition of the Peteetneet and Thurber school buildings. Motion unanimous. Superintendent Brockbank discussed with the Board of iilucation the employment of teachers for the next fiscal school year. The Superintendent was' authorized to have specifications rrepared and samples' furnished for stage curtains and cyclorama for the four new school buildings; to be presented to the Board at a future meeting. Tho Board of Education studied plans prepared by Architect Claude S.
