The map is a reproduction of a painting by the late William H. Jackson, pioneer artist-photographer, whose paintings are to the west what Courier and Ives prints are to the east. H. B. Nothcott, U. P. general advertising ad-vertising manager, said at the railroad's rail-road's headquarters here that copies cop-ies have been distributed to grade and high schools throughout Nebraska, Neb-raska, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Wyo-ming, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California and Montana. Copies may be obtained from U. P. general agents or by writing to Mr. Northcott at 1416 Dodge St., Omaha 2, Neb. The map was reproduced with the cooperation of Howard R. Driggs, president of the American Pioneer Trails Assn. Union Pacific's tracks closely parallel the original Pony Express Ex-press route. iin am i immii niniiiiiiiiii i iiihiiium ii in i i nM BUS CRASH . . .
