Show Two Tickets Nominated For Mapleton Election Mapleton politicians have lined up on two tickets, the Progressive and the Citizens in preparation for a lively election clay next Tuesday, November 6. Three incumbents have signified their intention of running' for their respective jobs on the Citizens ticket, including: includ-ing: Freeman C. Bird, Elmer Wiscombe for councilmen, and Jane Jensen, treasurer. Each of these were elected two years ago. The new candidate in the city running for councilman is Lewis Wing. All candidates are for a four-year term. On the Progresive ticket are: Louis Bleggi, Reed Hales, and Carlos Hjorth, candidates for the position of councilmen,' 4-year terms, and Mrs.. Lucille Heath is the candidate for city treasurer. Voting will take place at the Town Hall, the polls to be open from 7 a. m. until 8 p. m., one hour later than in some previous years. Judges of election will be Mrs. Hannah Binks, , A. E. Cox, and Chris Jensen, with A. A. LeRoy to act as constable. |
