Show Wildlife Federation Sponsors Lee Kay Show Friday Night Z Sponsored by the Springville Mapleton Wildlife Federation, a picture in kodachrome of the west's most remote areas in Southeastern Utah, will be shown Friday night in the high's1 school auditorium. The show, made by Lee Kay of the State Fish and Game department, will begin at 8 -p.m. There will be a slight charge. Funds derived from the showing show-ing will go to soil conservation work, according to G. M. Black, president of the Springville group. The pictures deal with the story of the early Red Man dating back thousands of years. It is a story of a great land that went from riches to rags and back to riches. It is packed with magnificent scenery, exploring adventure and ' a message of the importance of land and water to people. Mr. Kay lectures as he shows his slides and is reported to give a keen interpretation inter-pretation of the geological formation forma-tion from ages past. Animals, people and history are well represented. repre-sented. Federation officers also remind sportsmen to prepare for the annual an-nual outing which is scheduled for June 19-20 at Balsam Park, right fork of Hobble Creek. Program will be Saturday night. Everyone is invited to participate in the outing. |
