Open House, Program, Fri. to Honor Retiring Stake Presidency All members of Kolob stake are invited to attend an open house and testimonial program in honor of the retiring stake presidency, Ernest A. The line will be from 8 p.m. until 9 o'clock when a program will be given. During the years in which they have presided over the affairs of the stake, these leaders have made many friends and have come in contact and associated with almost every church member in Springville Spring-ville and Mapleton. As a special tribute to them and in appreciation for their services, the social has been arranged so that everyone might greet them personally. The evening's entertainment will also honor seven retiring members of the stake high council including Frank Jensen, Edward Clyde, A. W. Cherrington, Jacob Felix, Clifford Clif-ford Crandall and Wm. Witney and the memory of the late Wm. T. Tew, who will be represented by Mrs. Tew. During the reception, music will be furnished by an instrumental trio composed of Jane Harrison, Betty Hoover and Ann Johnson. The program as planned will include in-clude a violin selection by Mrs. Lewis Bird; numbers by a double trio composed of Mrs. Evelyn Boy-er, Boy-er, Betty Sumsion, Mrs. Francis Holley, Mrs. Wanda Taylor, Mrs. Betty Packard and Miss Edna Nielson; and a vocal solo by Reed Miner. Mrs. A LeRoy Erickson and Mrs. Maurice Bird are accompanists. accom-panists. Arrangements for the function are under direction of Victor Frandsen chairman assisted by LeRoy Tingey, G. Ray Hales, Leo Robertson and J. Y. Bearnson of the high council.
