Show AF ROTC Lt.-Col x r 1 I ' Glen Sanford Springville Man, "U" Graduate, Takes Coast Job Glen Sanford. receiving his degree de-gree in business from the University Univer-sity of Utah, is also graduating from the ROTC with a Lt-Colonel rating in the airforce reserve. He and his wife, the former Vonda Clayson, will leave soon for San Francisco, where he has accepted a position with the army civil service ser-vice as an accountant, being one of three selected from a group of 20 for the position. Glen has made an enviable record rec-ord while at the "U". In 1952 and 1953, he received scholarship trophies tro-phies for having attained the highest high-est mark of any student on the "U" basketball team, on which he played three years receiving his letter. He completed his college course some time ago and has been working recently on his master's degree. In addition to his school work, Glen has coached the Salt Lake 33rd ward M Men basketball team and is now coaching the ward baseball team. When he graduated from the local high school, he received a $500 scholarship from the Standard Stand-ard Oil, based on his scholastic and athletic record in high school. |
