Bown (Ferl) and family of Milford and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Whiting (lone) and family of Las Vegas and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Rich (Ora) and family of Provo spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davies spent several days last week visiting visit-ing with relatives and friends in Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Palmer enjoyed en-joyed the weekend in Grand Canyon. Can-yon. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hiller and Mr. and -Mrs. John Donaldson of Salt Lake City were dinner guests at the Reed Hales home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer W. Bird accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Nida Boswell of Fontana, California, and May Smith of Provo spent' Memorial Day in Heber. Mr. Frank Noack and son Ernest Ern-est of Los Angeles, California, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mz-s. Elmer W. Bird one day this week. They came especially to attend the funeral services for their wife and mother which were held in Provo at one o'clock Saturday. Mrs. Noack was the sister of Mrs. Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Parry and family of Ogden spent the weekend week-end in Mapleton visiting with friends and relatives. W. R. Coleman and son Bob of Salt Lake City spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday visiting relatives, rela-tives, in Mapleton. They were the dinner guests of his aunt, Mrs. Zina Dibble Sunday along with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wall, also of Salt Lake City. Other guests of Mrs. Dibble during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Clyn Seamons of Boise, Idaho. Mrs. Seamons is the former Maxine Gamble Dibble. Other guests were Mrs. Dorothy Dibble and children of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dibble also of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderson of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Dibble and children of Payson. . Mr. and Mrs. Bert Warren spent Saturday and Sunday in Logan as guests of their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Carlo Perkins. Per-kins. While there they attended the graduation exercises of Mr. Perkins who graduated from the USAC this spring. . Mr. and Mrs. Fay Dibble enjoyed enjoy-ed the company of Mrs. Dibble's sisters and their husbands Sunday. Sun-day. They are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Boyack of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Champ Myer of Richfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Holm of of Panguitch. A brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Tippetts of Springville were also present. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Binks enjoyed en-joyed the company of Mr. E. R. Coleman and son Bob of Salt Lake City over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Erickson of Murray and Mrs. C. W. Erickson Erick-son of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Edith Erickson of Ogden were visitors at the Norris T. Binks home on Memorial Day. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Selch have returned to their home in Salmon, Idaho, after visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Johnson for the past two weeks. While they were here they attended the reunion of the class of 1934 of the Springville high school of which they were both members. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Nebel, (Norma) (Nor-ma) and family of Idaho Falls are spending a week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Johnson. They came especially espec-ially to be with Mrs. Johnson who is convalescing at her home after treatment in the Utah Valley hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Whiting and family who have been making their home in Lyman, Wyoming, where Stewart has been teaching have returned here to make their home. Bishop Earl Reynolds and family fam-ily have been guests at the home of his mother, Mrs. John I. Holley for the memorial weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Holley and family of Ogden, Utah, were also guests at the Holley home. Mr. and Mrs. Norris T.v Binks accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Glade Binks and Mr. and Mrs. Cornell R. Binks were in Salt Lake City Friday to attend the wedding reception of Carl Erickson Erick-son and Florence Neilson of Murray. Mur-ray. Carl is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Erickson, formerly of Springville. i Mrs. Lilly Hopla spent several days in Salt Lake City, as guest of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Casper. She also attended the wedding reception recep-tion of Carl Erickson and his new bride. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jones (Jaun-ita) (Jaun-ita) and family were visitors in Mapleton over the weekend. They have been making their home in Escalante where Bill is employed. The M Men and Gleaners held their fire side chat at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Tuttle on Sunday evening. , ) |
