Show Mapleton Jaycee Officers Take Over New Jobs Neno Antonino was installed president of the Mapleton Jaycees at a program and dinner at Chicken Chick-en Roost on Wednesday evening of last week. Other officers who took their respective posts were Marty Perrero, first vice-president; Paul Jensen, second vice-president; Joseph Jos-eph Carnesecca, secretary-treasurer; Bob Sayer, Roland Hansen, 2-year 2-year directors; Neil Whiting, Henry Hen-ry Angus, one-year directors. Paul Schwartz, state director. Parents of the new president, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Antonino; also Boyd Bunnell, Utah State JC president, pres-ident, Mayor and Mrs. Maston Wentz; Dick Shirts, Price JC president, pres-ident, and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bird, attended the function as guests of the Mapleton club, with the state president as the speaker. In appreciation of his services, a pen and pencil set was presented Bob Sayer, retiring secretary. Paul Swartz received the past president's presi-dent's pin from Marty Perrero in behalf of the club and his wife also received a gift. She presented a scrap book of his activities to her husband. . Also during the evening several members were presented with 100 percent attendance pins, and spark plug awards. The newly installed officers met Monday at the home of the president to outline activities for the club the coming year and committees com-mittees were also named to carry out the various club projects. |
