The new setup for. the teams, throughout the state and surrounding surround-ing states, is to be similar to that of the Little League organization. Under the tentative program, teams will compete city wise and then enter county or regional .playoffs .play-offs From these playoffs there will be a state playoff and the winner will be sent to Santa Monica for intersectional playoffs. Springville Little League teams have been outstanding clubs during the past few years and much interest inter-est in the sport has been shown here by both parents and participants. partici-pants. Some 100 fellows participated partici-pated in the sport here last year. Mr. Miguel and Young have been outstanding boosters of the baseball base-ball program in Springville and were the two representatives who attended an organization meeting last week in Salt Lake City in which approximately 40 towns were represented. |
