Show Funeral Services Held Sunday for Mrs. Annie Wheeler Funeral services for Mrs. Annie L. Wheeler, 73, wife of Joseph S. Wheeler of this city, who died Thursday in a Provo hospital following fol-lowing a short illness, were conducted con-ducted Sunday afternoon in the Second-Eighth ward chapel. Burial was in the City Cemetery Ceme-tery directed by A. Y. Wheeler and Son Mortuary. Mrs. Wheeler was born at Lake-view Lake-view August 27, 1882, a daughter daugh-ter of Joseph and Angeline Skinner Skin-ner Lunceford. She spent her girlhood girl-hood in that community and was married to Mr. Wheeler January 8, 1902. Their married life has been spent in Springville. An active member of the LDS church, Mrs. Wheeler had worked in the Primary organization and had served as a Relief Society teacher. She was a member of Camp Aaron Johnson DUP. Surviving are her husband and four sons and daughters: William J. Wheeler of Helper; Lawrence Wheeler and Mrs. Mervin (Mable) Wright of Springville and Mrs. Golden (Ellen) Sessions of Maiden, Mai-den, Washington; also eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a brother, George Lunceford of Orem and two sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Anna Olsen and Mrs. Julius Johnson both of Lake View. |
