Show Life of Clare Booth Luce Reviewed at Club Meet The fiction-like life of the famous fam-ous Clare Booth Luce, ambassador to Italy, was reviewed for members mem-bers of the Ladies Literary club by Mrs. Paul Thorn, in a regular meeting held Thursday evening of last week at the home of Mrs. M. N. Moon. In connection with her talk, Mrs. Thorn showed pictures of ambassador's ambas-sador's residence in Italy which she has turned into a place of beauty and told in detail of events in the life of the fabulous diplomat from Lne Lime sue jmu zl suian pen l uh the stage as a girl to the present. 'Norman Jessee entertained with piano selections following a nicely arranged lunch served by the hostess hos-tess in keeping with an Italian theme. The program was in charge of0 Mrs. Berton Groesbeck, president, who opened the meeting with . an appropriate verse for the new year and conducted short business. |
