Show Parents Visiting Day at Jr., Sr. High School Set Parents Expected to Be at School 9 a.m., or Send Acceptable Excuse Parents visiting for the senior and junior high schools will be held on Friday, January 27, it was announced an-nounced this week by Kay Johnson, president of the Shig;h school PTA. The program outlined for the day begins with assembly at 9 a.m. in the high school auditorium of all parents of boys and girls in the senior and junior high schools. The students will stay at home for the day but will be counted absent and will have credit cut accordingly according-ly if parents do not send a reasonable rea-sonable excuse for their own absence ab-sence from the PTA visiting day. Parents are also asked to be in the auditorium promptly at 9 o'clock. Following the assembly parents will attend the students classes throughout the day for 25-minute periods, beginning in the boy's or girl's home-room, where a schedule sched-ule of the day's program will be given. Report Cards Report cards will be sent home during this week' and parents are asked to sign the cards and bring them back to the teachers at Parent Par-ent Visiting Day. Lunch will be served at the cafeteria cafe-teria at noon in the same manner as for students. The visiting' dav will eive Dar- ents an opportunity to contact the various teachers and gain information infor-mation concerning the student's standing in school and will also afford a means of becoming better acquainted with the teachers. |
