Show City-Co. Health Dept. Sets $94,954 Budget This year the city-county health department anticipates total revenue reve-nue of 594,954.01. the figures set as the 1956 budget which is $10,548 higher than last year. Income sources expected include: Meat and milk inspection, $2,-640.26; $2,-640.26; cities and county, $44,-704.57; $44,-704.57; school districts, $18,569.18; State Department of Health, $25,-000; $25,-000; state-department of agriculture, agricul-ture, $3,500; student nurses' training, train-ing, $540. This year, as last, the county will contribute $29,757. Expected expenditures of $93,-548.95 $93,-548.95 include: Hiring of one new nurse in Nebo school district, $3,933.03; other salaries, sal-aries, $72,199.92; mileage, $8,760; supplies, $2,250; expenses, $2,000; milk samples, $2,000; veterinarians' veterinar-ians' services, $876; restaurant samples, $1,080, and mimeograph machine, $450. At the close of last year, City-County City-County health department approved approv-ed a new meat inspection code, conforming to state department of Health standards, and hired a veterinary vet-erinary staff member. |
