Show Pretty Church Reception Given for 1 Newlyweds, Mr., Mrs., Myron Nichols Pretty in every detail was the wedding reception Friday evening in the Third-Ninth ward hall, honoring honor-ing newlvweds, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Nichols, who were married Thursday in the Salt Lake Temple. The charming young bride, formerly for-merly Miss Annette Ewell, choose for her wedding attire, an allover imported lace and tulle over slipper slip-per satin with long pointed sleeves, tulle yoke underscored with lace scallops and accented with tiny stand-up collar. Her bouquet was of pink rosebuds and pink and white feathered carnations. She was attended by her sisters, Marie Ewell, as maid of honor; Shirley Young, matron of honorK and Laura Nell Wilson, and Ar-lene Ar-lene Watkins, bridesmaids. Little Marva Ewell was flower girl carrying carry-ing a miniature basket of flowers. Other attendants were in pastel frocks with corsages of pink and white carnations. I Best man to the groom was Lee Young. In line also to greet guests were parents of the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. M. Ewell, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nichols. Mrs. Ewell chose a rose-colored dress with lace jacket for her daughter's wedding, and Mrs. Nichols wore navy with rose piping. Their corsages were of roses and carnations. The bridal party stood before tall white candelabra and floral arrangements ar-rangements to greet the guests while background music was played play-ed by Alberta Hoover, Betty Hoover Hoov-er and Merrill Johnson. Serving was at small tables' centered cen-tered with white tapers encircled with fern and tiny pink flowers. A three-tiered wedding cake with pink and white rosebuds and wedding wed-ding bells enhanced a lace-covered table. Serving were Susan Harrison, Mary Ivory, Linda Whiting and Marjorie Tipton. Mrs. Leah Harrison, Harri-son, Florence Ekker, Gladys Stahli and Darlene Jenkins assisted in the kitchen. Arranging the gifts were Mrs. Reva Roylance, Mrs. Lucille Furr, Mrs. Letta Coleman and Mrs., Car-ma Car-ma Miller, assisted by Laurel Springer and Lila Ree Measom, gift bearers. The young couple are making their home in Springville, the new Mrs. .Nichols having resumed her work at the Utah Valley hospital and Myron with the railroad. |
