Show MIA News... By Maurine IManwaring Fifth Ward BIIA Special Interest Dr. Melvin A. Cook, professor of mining and metallurgy at the University of- Utah, will be the speaker at the meeting of the Special Interest class of the Fifth ward MIA next Tuesday evening. Professor Cook is an expert on explosives ex-plosives and his talk will prove interesting. in-teresting. He is a brother of Vernon Ver-non Cook of Springville, teacher of the class. Fourth Ward Special Interest Ralph Junior Snelson, recently returned missionary from Cali-fonia, Cali-fonia, will be the speaker at the Special Interest class of the Fourth ward MIA next Tuesday evening, April 28. He will demonstrate demon-strate the new plan being used in the missionary field. An invitation is given all adult members of the ward to be present. Final Square Dance The last Square dance of the seaspn is being planned for Friday Fri-day evening, beginning at 9 p.m., at the Stake House under direction of the MIA. Callers for the evening will be Tom and Dolly Smith, Elden Carter, George Naylor and Elwood and Arnold Loveridge. |
