Show Lincoln P-TA Names Officers $ c meeting conducted on Wed-fpsdav Wed-fpsdav evening of last week. Mrs. Harold Johnson is first vice-presi-?r,t and Frank Patten, principal, vice-president and Mrs. Seorge Johnson, secretary. The meeting featured short talks by the teachers as follows: Miss RuNae Rawle on "Activity of the Kindergarten Child;" Miss Dorothy Doro-thy Harmer, "Reading Readiness"; Mrs. Marie Averett, "Public Library;" Lib-rary;" Miss Hannah Rowland, "The Value of Resource Visitors in the School Room;" Clyde Beardall, "Field Trips"; Kenneth Osborn, "Music and the Child;" Frank Patten, principal, reported on his recent trip to Denver, Colo., to attend at-tend the ACEI meet. An interesting scrapbook, compiled com-piled by Mrs. Dale A. Allred, historian, his-torian, containing the history of the Lincoln school PTA, was presented pre-sented to the school. Music for the evening was furnished furn-ished by the Fifth grade boys and girls on their flutes, directed by Mr. Osborn. The meeting was under direction of Mrs. Wm. Harrison, retiring PTA president. |
