Show SUGAR TAX SUIT IS TO BE HEARD TODAY Trial of the suit of the Utah-Idaho Sugar company against the county treasurer treas-urer to enjoin him from collecting taxes upon the $10,000 assessed against the company's "tangible assets" by former County Assessor A. H. Parsons is scheduled sched-uled to begin this morning before Judge J. Lewis Brown of the Third district court. Trial of the case was to have been begun be-gun yesterday morning, . but was first continued to 2 o'clock in the afternoon, and again until 10 o'clock this morning, upon the joint request of counsel for both sides. It is understood that effort is being made to stipulate as to facts, which would make trial of the case largely large-ly a matter of argument on the law. |
