College Week in Provo was ushered in yesterday, the day's activities concluding with a band concert in Federal park. Bingham Young university colors were much in evidence in the decorations throughout the city and were worn by mem hers of the faculty and students of the institution. The opening day's attendance at-tendance at t ho school was large. Last night .Major J ,eUoy Dixon made an address of welcome, which gave the students to understand that they were in t iie home of their friends. The program pro-gram this cvei.ing was as follows: B. They returned re-turned la st week from Santa Barbara, Cal., where they had been studying at the California state normal school. i P. O. Bigiow, an expert in automobile mechanics, is one of the new members of the university faculty. Mr. Bigiow has had ten years' practical experience in automobile repair and automobile construction con-struction work. |
