Show EXHIBITS METHODS OF ELIMINATING SMOKE An exhibition of a new discovery designed de-signed to eliminate the smoke nuisance was given yesterday afternoon at the Salt Lake Engineering works. Fourth South and Sixth West streets, by Colonel E. A. Wall, the inventor of the process, before LOO spectators. The experiment yesterday proved a success suc-cess and keenly interested those present. The theory is based on the substitution substitu-tion of pulverized fuel for the lump variety va-riety now used. The efficiency is said to be Increased more than 30 per cent and the capacity is nearly doubled, Colonel W all says. Another exhibition is to be given in the near future. Colonel Wall says that the process will save the consumer a considerable consid-erable amount on his coal bill, while, at the same time, clearing the air of cities of tho smoke pall. |
