Hener City's hop-is of being on the route of the proposed pro-posed railroad to the Uintah basin were definitely crushed in a .speech by Governor Gov-ernor P.amberger at a meeting of the I fe'oer boosters' club, held in the high school auditorium this afternoon. When the railroad was first talked of. the governor explained, it was reported , thrtt a 2 per cent grad- was available 'by v. ay of I Ib.-r and Daniels canyon. ! but investigation had. shown the best : rrade possible by that route was 2-l , per cent.
