Show 10 PATROLMEN SHE HISSED Action of Police Chief Follows Fol-lows Investigation of Brawl. Motor Patrolmen W. A. Pieree and J. E. ilusbands were yesterday dismissed dis-missed from the Salt Lake police department de-partment by Chief of Police J. Parley White. "Their dismissal from the department de-partment follows investigations I have made in which I find their conduct unbecoming un-becoming officers and gentlemen," said Chief White last night. Chief Whilo sent a letter to the members of the city commission yesterday requesting that they approve his action. Chief White said that his investigations investiga-tions hud brought forth that Pierce was responsible for an unprovoked attack on Uriel Higham, 2S years of age, 079 South Main street, Tuesday morning, which ultimately ended in Higham receiving re-ceiving a bullet wound in his left shoulder, shoul-der, as well as bruises and lacoratious inflicted by the ofl'icer.
