Due to the fact that neither of the squads lies ever played football before this season, the confab promises to be a novel one, as well as an eyenpener for nil contestants. Tlioe who will likely make the trip are: "Hood" Smuin, fullback ; "Phoebe" Karl Miller Mil-ler and Karl Roberts, both speedy halfbacks; Louie Osterloh, quarter: "Icabod" Alfred Smith. center; Ray Kirkham nnd Frank "Brady" Bradshaw, guards; Leland "Link" Merrill and Oscar Hanson, tackles; Eldon "Hunk" Brown and Aihol AVanlass, ends. Cameron, Peterson, Clark, Jones, Holmstend and Manager "Dick" Knight will no doubt fill In as substitutes. The whole team will average about 140 pounds. |
