Daring Steeple Jack Will Show Skill in Salt Lake Tomorrow. BILL STEOTHER, the human spider, spi-der, arrived last night with his manager, Arthur Hill, and announces an-nounces that he will scale one of the highest buildings in the eitv tomorrow. to-morrow. The building and the time of performance will be arranged today. Mr. atrother will affiliate with one of the social service organizations of tho city, and half of any money collected col-lected at the performance will be donated do-nated to that association. A short speech on some timely topic will precede pre-cede the climbing. The feats of Mr. Strother in other cities have caused breathless suspense. Not only does he climb to tho top of the flagpoles of the highest buildings, but he performed all kinds of daring tricks in dangerous places. He has been known to stand on his hoad on the cornice, to hang suspended by one hand twenty stories in the air and to ride a bicycle around a slanting roof. His performance tomorrow will be free to everybody, the actor depending on voluntary contributions. |
