Show BLACK METALS 15 PREPARING TO Sf George W. Snyder, general manager of the Black Metals Mining company, operating op-erating an extensive property located sixteen six-teen miles out of Pioche, New, in the Jack Rabbit district, said yesterday that he had just received a message to the effect that the new machinery, which includes in-cludes a large engine and considerable additional ad-ditional equipment, would reach the mine today. Mr. Snyder estimates that not more than ten days will be required to complete com-plete the installation and from that time on it is anticipated the shipments wiil be regular. One car of high-grade silver ore. taken from the upper workings, is already in the bins and will be sent in within a week. The mine superintendent reports the physical condition of the mine as excellent ex-cellent and says there is nothing to interfere inter-fere with regular production, as the ! Black Metals has a large tonnage already developed. i The company only recently added to its other holdings the old Day property, this being a well-known producer of rich silver sil-ver ore during the days that the white metal brought SI. 10 or better. The mine was permitted to lapse into Inactivity in the years that silver was not in demand, but has been rehabilitated by the Black-Metals Black-Metals interests, who realized that the property held an immense volume of good ore of values that will yield a handsome return under existing market conditions. |
