Show LIEUT. CAMPBELL IS ASSIGNED TO POST Will Be Quartermaster of U. S. Army General Hospital Hos-pital at Douglas, Lieutenant Jjinius James Oainpbell, quartermaster corps, U. S. A., has been assigned as quartermaster of the. United States general hospital at Fort Douglas, according to an order of the war department de-partment received at the past yesterday. yester-day. The hospitaJ. quartermaster officer and the personnel officer are the only executive execu-tive officers of the hospital organization who have not reported at the post for duty,' and officers already them have been t acting in these capacities pending the assignment and arrival of the designated desig-nated officers. It is not known here as yet when Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Campbell will arrive, but he is expected any day. No official assignment assign-ment of a personnel adjutant has been made as yet. Captain R. M. Jones. M. C, who was formerly acting adjutant of the army general gen-eral hospital at the post, but recently has been acting post surgeon, has been relieved re-lieved of that duty -and is assigned, by authority of the surgeon general, as supervisor su-pervisor of clinical records of the reconstruction recon-struction hospital. Lieutenant George F. Manning, M. C, has been appointed acting post surgeon to succeed Captain Jones, pending assignment as-signment of a post surgeon by the western west-ern department. Until such surgeon is appointed by the department, however. Captain Jones wil continue to make trip? to the guard organizations in this dis-trict'for dis-trict'for medical inspection and work. |
