Show WAR WORK CAMPAIGN OPENS IN POCATELLO POCATELLO. Idaho. Nov. u. The united war work campaign started out in this state this morning with a rush that promises to put the state over her auotn In a short time. Jn many cities of the state the full quotas of the communities communi-ties were well over the top on Saturday Satur-day night before the campaign was officially offi-cially opened. The town of Albion, in southern Idaho, oversubscribed its quota Saturday. Idaho ministers are lending every possible possi-ble support to the great cause. From every part of tho state comes the information infor-mation that the various churchmen are backing tlie campaign committees with their support, and the preliminary work of the campaign received much help from a religious source. In Pocatello, headquarters for Bannock-county, Bannock-county, the campaign has received careful care-ful attention of the business men forming form-ing the committee, and. under the direction direc-tion of Manager P. C. O'Malley, the committees com-mittees are making every effort to clean up the county's subscription by Tuesdav night. i Mr. O'Malley was so taken up in the I war work campaign that ho entirely neglected neg-lected the recent campaign, although a candidate on the Democratic ticket for state senator. The entire county was lined up for a big drive that was scheduled to begin this morning. |
