Beatty and members of the j library board at the state capltol, John Martin, 32 years of age, an Austrian, was i arrested yesterday at First South and j Fourth East streets by Special Deputy Sheriff John H. Cook, custodian at the i capitol. According to Deouty Cook, Martin was I loitering at the law library at the capltol on cleetion day, and it was with diffl-culty diffl-culty that he was Induced to leave the building without being ejected. i When told that he was under arret last night. Martin put up a stiff fight hut ; was finally subdued and brought to the : police station. He is being held In the city jail pending an investigation by Chief" of Detectives Joseph C. Sharp and the i federal authorities. , l
