Show ARRANGE TO SUPPLY LABOR FOR INDUSTRY Country Divided Into 13 Employment Districts ; Moran for Salt Lake, WASHINGTON". March 31. Division of the country into thirteen employment districts dis-tricts to facilitate the transfer of labor of al! kinds from districts where a surplus sur-plus obtains to those where a shortage exists w as announced today by the j United States employment service. Homogeneity of industries and employment employ-ment problems governed the division. The districts and states included in them include: No. 7 Indiana, Illinois. Michigan, Wisconsin Wis-consin and Iowa. No. S Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri i and Arkansas- I No. 9 Minnesota. North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana. No. 10 Nebraska. Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and Wyoming. No. 1 1 Texas and New Mexico. No. 12 Arizona, Utah, Nevada and California. No. Lj Washington, Oregon and Idaho. There will be a superintendent at the head of each district. Five already appointed, ap-pointed, including Nn. 7, P. L. I'renti. Chicago; No. 12, Wiiliam T. Boyce. San Francisco: No. 13, Harry White, Seattle. Wash. Kach of the superintendents is employment employ-ment director in his own state.
