Show COMPANIES REPORT WORK OF QUARTER Detailed Utah and Chino Activities Show Former's Gross production for Year 206,174,442 Pounds. Official copies of the reports of the Utah and Chino Copper companies for the fourth quarter of U17 were received at the office of the Utah Copper company yesterday. They confirm figures heretofore hereto-fore published, the Utah showing a total production tor the throe months of 50,-S'"2.Trj3 50,-S'"2.Trj3 pounds and the Chino a total of 20.266,71.". pounds, making Utah's grogs production for the year 2i6, 174.4-12 pounds, against l,7o?.i5:-:l for lJUS. Uhino's output for 1917 amounted to S1.!2.S0S pounds. Utah's net surplus for the year, after disbursing to stockholders stockhold-ers the sum of $23,o65.1"d in dividends, was $.420..".. , 4 while Chino'n net surplus sur-plus was $1.324.2S0.77, after pa ring out the sum of JS.612.S02 in dividends. The Utah report shows earnings from the or-rtion of the Bingham &- Garfield Gar-field railway of $l,300.n., and remarks: "Tiie opera i ions of the Bingham & Gar-li:-!d railway were profitable and sati-la-jtory, the traffic having been the heaviest in the history of the road.
