During the recent livestock conventions conven-tions here at which the upper peninsula of Michigan had ten representatives, it was evident that the graders were willing will-ing to consider other than western fields for grazing. An immense shortage short-age of summer grazing, as well as winter win-ter feed, has compelled the westerners to look elsewhere. In order to follow up the prospects and spread the' propaganda, the bureau has established headquarters here in 405 Continental National Bank building, with Charles R. Mr. Hutcheson will confer with Thomas Redmond, secretary to the state livestock live-stock board, in promoting Cloverland. in the Michigan upper peninsula region, among western stockmen as a splendid grazing field. Frank J. Hagentfarth of this efty recently visited Cloverland and expressed himself as Impressed with the extent of grazing opportunities there. |
