Show NAME OFFICERS TO SERVE TWO YEARS State Society Daughters of the Revolution Revolu-tion Hold Annual Meeting in Eishop's Building. At the annual meeting of the State Society So-ciety Daughters of the Revolution, held in the Bishop's building Saturday afternoon, after-noon, a set of new officers to serve for the ensuing two years was elected and other business transacted, including approval of reports of Red Gross work accomplished by the organization. Officers elected were: Airs. Carroll Y. Cannon, regent; Mrs. Mary R. Weber, first vice regent; Mrs. Clarissa Y. Spencer, Spen-cer, second vice regent ; Miss Ncl' Sum-sion. Sum-sion. secretary; Mrs. lucy A. Clark, corresponding cor-responding secretary; Mrs. AI. i. S. Mansfield, Mans-field, treasurer; Airs. Julia P. A!. Farns-worth, Farns-worth, historian ; Aliss Kai herin Welts, registrar; Airs. Emmeline B. Wells, chap-Iain. chap-Iain. Gratification was expressed at the reports re-ports of Red Cross work which has been accomplished by the organization, this having been greatly facilitated through the recent purchase and installation at Whitney hall of two electric motors for operariug machines. Matilda Evans chapter at Lehi reported excellent progress in Red Cross work and that last year each member had cultivated culti-vated a war garden to supply the family with vegetables for the table and had raised one pig for meat. It was the expressed ex-pressed intention to do the same this year and to even increase this productive work. |
