Show ARRESTED TWICE WITHIN AN HOUR Kailroad FiremeurBailed Out First Time by Brother, but Is Detained on Second Arrest. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, March 10. Terry Span-, 27 years of age. a railroad fireman and well known in the local police circles, broke tlie quiet life of the police department last night and early this morning by being be-ing arrested twice within an hour. The first charge against Sparr was intoxication intoxica-tion and the arrest was made at the corner of Washington avenue and Twenty-fifth Twenty-fifth slreet bv Detective J. L. Tlobson and Patrolman P, J. Navin at 7:30-o'clock in the evening. Four hours later Sparr's brother appeared at the station and put up $50 bail for his release. - At 12:30 o'clock this mornine Pparr was arrested in front of a Washington avenue dance hall while engaged in a fight with H. 'Livermore. The arresting officers were Patrolmen Dick PIncoek, Dan Sullivan and Charles Manzel. Sparr's brother again was called to the police station and wanted to post hail the second sec-ond time for his brother, but Captain O. H. Mohiman refused to permit Sparr to be released on ball. i |
