PROGRESS AWAITING DELAYED EQUIPMENT Power Badly Needed in,. Development at Jesse Knight's Drain Tunnel in Eureka District. j I Special to The Tribune. EUREKV, March 10. Of ficials of the Utah Power company are at loss to understand un-derstand why It is taking so many weeks to get the transformers which are needed in order to connect the machinery at Jesse Knight's drain tunnel in the southeastern south-eastern end of the district. The transformers trans-formers were shipped almost three months ago, according to information sent out, and yet there is nothing to indicate that they will arrive at an early date. The tunnel is now In a distance of about 300 feet and the work has reached the stage where the power is badly needed If any kind of progress Is to be made with the work. Naturally the power company's manager is anxious to trace the missing equipment and complete tho installation, but the matter Is entirely out of his hands. Any one who tries to buy electrical elec-trical equipment these days, and who thinks he can hurry things through, is doomed to serious disappointments.
