WATER MAIN BREAKS; STREETS FLOODED Considerable excitement was occasioned occa-sioned in the vicinity of Fourth West, between Sixth and Seventh South streets, when a six-inch water main burst with a loud report., about 0 o'clock last night, flooding the streets and partly inundating inundat-ing the cellars of residents in the surrounding sur-rounding territory. According to the water department, the break resulted from a corroded pipe -on a brauch line, and the inconvenience of water users was confined to the block immediately to the westward of the scene of the accident. A crew of men under Foreman Jacob Schetfler was at once dinpa tched to repair re-pair the break, and It Is thought that the damaged pipe will be replaced and the line ready for use by S o'clock this morning.
