Ml union workmen will return to their jobs this morning- on the new Desctet National bank building, which is boinir erected at the corner of Main and J'irst South streets, tho strike having- been settled yesterday afternoon satisfactorily to all parties concerned. Representing tbe state industrial commission com-mission in the settlement wore William M . Knerr and Harrison K. .1 enki ns. They were assisted by W. II. Kodgers, federal labor conciliator. In the settlement the Spencer Plumbing Plumb-ing and Heating company, according to Mr. Knerr, agreed to pay the Salt Lake Building Trades council $25 for expenses, ex-penses, with tho understanding that Ihe check should be delivered to the state industrial commisMon, the latter to turn it over to Ihe Ken t'ros society.
