Show IMPERIAL COMPANY RESUMES SHIPMENTS With the roads in good shape as a re-1 re-1 suit of the reeent storm, the Imperial Lead & Zi.nc company lias resumed shipments ship-ments to tiie smelter, according to word received from the mine yesterday by Manager -I. H. Turner. Three teams are I no'.v engaged in hauling ore and others I are to be put to work as rapidly as the , I farmers in the dist rh-t have disposed of I their fall work. I Tho company shipped four cars of ore I to the smelters during the summer, but t shipments were interrupted during the ' fall while the farmers were buj-y and while the company devoted Its attention to erectinsr bunk and boarding houses and made other preparations for the winter. Practically all winter preparations have been completed except the bunkhouse, ! which is expected to be ready for service not later than the middle of the coming j week. A force of twelve men is now em- i ployed at the mine. |
