Show APPROVES ARREST OF SPEED VIOLATOR Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Dec. 14. K. A. Ackerman, a wealthy resident of Tremonton, forgot to observe Ogden's speed rules when In the city a few days ao. The number of bis I machine was taken and a letter was sent to him advising him that he was under arrest for the offense. He was .lust leav-Ing- for the east on a business trip, so he sent tbe following letter to the court: "I am Inclosing--$10 for my bond, which you will please forfeit when the case is called. I would appear in person, only I am too busy preparing for a trip east. I approve of your enterprise In seeking to enforce I the speed regulations; when I violate tbe ; rules, I am willing to pay the price, but I shall not violate them again." |
