Samuel Oakiey Crawford, who was known here as the Kev. Arthur Worthington, and who had lived a picturesque life of crime as bigamist, former and fake clergyman, died suddenly in jail here today. He escaped to Detroit, joined a theatrical troupe as an actor and married an actress in Toronto in 1S7S, later deserting her.
