Show SIMPLICITY FAVORED FOR SCHOOL DRESSES Special to The Tribune. ; POCATELLO, Idaho, May 2R. Local club women have been asked to lend their support to a movement which has been , started in Boise to require a uniform style of dress for girls attending the upper up-per grades in the high schools of this : state. j The assistance of the state board of I education, as well as of different county I and city school officials, will be sought in securing the adoption of the plan. The movement is being backed by many of the most prominent women of the state, who are opposed to the conspicuous hosiery ho-siery and shoos and dfcollette waists now being worn by many young school girls. The question will be presented for discussion dis-cussion in some of the local women's clubs, when some formal action will probably be taken as to whether they will co-operate with those who are advocating this dress reform. |
