Show NO DANGER OUT HERE. While Salt Lake and the state of Utah have been favored with more rain than is appreciated by citizens in general, gen-eral, each and every one of us may derive some satisfaction from the knowledge knowl-edge that we do not. live in the cyclone belt and are not compelled to dive into specially constructed cellars whenever, an ominous looking cloud i9 visible in the sky. In other words, we are immune im-mune from such destructive storm? as have visited K;'n?ns and Illinois in the past two or three day-?. Most of us have indulged in a vast amount ot prowling and grumbling on account of the heavy pnowfails during the winter and spring, and the more or less con-t'Tuonp con-t'Tuonp rainfall? ever siiTe. But we t id not have any late frosts and a record crop is promised, even though planting was delayed bv the over-abundant e of water precipitated from the clouds. Instead of "ruling a blue streak ' ' every time the dark clouds gather and rain begins to fall we should rejoice and bp glad that vegetation is not borne withered by hot winds. |
