Japanese ideas were carried out in the decorations. In the center of the tea table ta-ble was a miniature Japanese village, and the tea room was decorated in cherry blossoms. Japanese iris and tulips In yellow yel-low and white were used in the other rooms. The sirls assisting in serving were dressed in Japanese costumes. Assisting the hostess in receiving: the gruests were her mother, Mrs. Joseph William Wil-liam Taylor, and Miss Irma Smoot. Mrs. J. Moyle Gray had charge of the tea room. Presiding at the table were Mrs. Collins Cannon, Mrs. R. Thomas Frost, Miss Lu-ciie Lu-ciie Beer and Miss Eleanor Beer.
