From the information gleaned by the chief executive, lie is of the opinion that a balance in the way of fate is extreme- , ly questionable. The Rich county delegation dele-gation informed the governor that failure fail-ure to sign the bill will hp a death blow-to blow-to nomocracy in Rich county, and tho Summit county supporters assure him that Democracy will forever bo a failure fail-ure in Summit county it' the bill becomes a law. Representatives of both counties waited wait-ed upon tho governor yesterday, and still there are more to be heard from. The governor also listened to arguments by representatives of the municipal league on the merits of penate bill No. 3S, by Chez, which provides that work up to a certain limit may be done by city officials without letting contracts. |
