It carries the sum of JfifiO annually and is awarded solely on merit in scholarship and upon demonstrated demon-strated abili ( y to do research work. Tn making application students must give information concerning their academic records. Applieat ion for V.mks should be made' to the recorder of Die faculties at Berkeley, Berke-ley, Gal. The awarding of the scholarship scholar-ship will take place not later than April 1.
