An allegnd swindle, estimated by different newspapers news-papers as amounting from 3,000,000 to 10.000,000 francs, was disclosed yesterday yester-day in the arrest of Philippe Rimeoni, of' Italian origin, and Prince Henri de Brocrli-Kevel. M. Sinieoni was accused in 1012 of swindling the (ierman prince Friedrich Carl Zu llohenlolie-Oehrinen out of .TOO. 000 francs. The case was settled out of court, Imt Simeoni was sentenced to six months in prison for fraudulent bankruptcy. Afterwards he founded tlie Toniptoir des Valours In-dustrielle, In-dustrielle, which was a stock-broking bank. Frinec Henri de Brogli -Revel was placed at the head of the institution institu-tion as its president, Simeoni takins the title of manager. At the outbreak of the war customers of the bank demanded their money. Simeoni pleaded the moratorium and put the bank into liquidation, provoking provok-ing manv complaints, one of which alone aliened a claim of 1.000,000 francs.
