TERRIBLE TRAGEDY CAUSED BY JEALOUSY Kansas Man Kills Wife and Infant Daughter and Attempts Suicide. TORONTO. Kan., Jan. 21. Walter Harold, 23 years old, formerly of Kankakee. Kanka-kee. 1)1., is under arrest here tonight with a bullet in his brain from which, physician physi-cian ilecla re, he cannot recover, while his wife, Mrs. Rose Ella Harold, and his 3-nionlhs-old daughter are dead from shots which Harold declared he tired, according ac-cording In Coroner C. C. Morrison. He then attempted to kill himself, the police say. The infant was killed as it slept. ( 'oroner Morrison said Harold declared he shot his wife and child through jealousy, jeal-ousy, after an unsuccessful attempt at reconciliation with his wife. Harold left a not e addressed lo the coroner to be opened only in the event of his death, Coroner Morrison said.
