SMITH AND IVINS SPEAK ON PRAYER Apostle Hyrum M. Smith and Apostle Anthony Ivins were the speakers at the tabernacle yesterday afternoon. Both spoke of "The Efficacy of Prayer." Apostle Apos-tle Smith declared that prayer was undoubtedly un-doubtedly answered, and that, in fact, no man could hope for success who did not address himself to God and submit himself him-self in prayer to His will. He declared that, as for direct answer to prayer, there were undoubted instances of such answering. In any case, he set forth, man must express his wants, and prepare himself to he guided as might seem best to the Father. If Ids prayer were worthy of an answer, it would receive re-ceive one. Apostle Ivins spoke along the- same line, citing Instances in which prayer had been so answered. .lames M. Nelson and Miss Viriginia .Harris sang the special musical number, a duct.
